Assignment tips


   Remember to write down, drag the favorite/bookmark from the browser or copy/paste the URL of the file you find information from so you can quickly go back to it if you need to prove your point.
   Remember to keep the literature as a central focus in your discoveries.  The point of the assignment is to synthesize the literature with information on the web.
   Be prepared to focus what you've learned into one main opinion that you hold after reading files in your section.

Evaluating the process and product
Your grade will be marked on the following:
The
individual student has documentation to show that s/he has read the piece of literature (2);
Student has discussed the literature with members of the group on-line and has a printout of those emails, chats, Ims (2);
The group has presented it's findings to the class in the form of an oral report (2).
Grades will be assigned as follows:
6 pts (A);
5 pts (A-);
4 pts (B);
3 pts (C);
2 pts (C-);
1 pt  (D)
What to do if you do not have a home computer or an email address
There are computers in the school library, or you may work with someone who has a computer.  You can create your own email address by clicking here. (http://lc6.law5.hotmail.passport.com/cgi-bin/login).  At the very top, you'll see a hyperlink in blue that says SIGN UP NOW,  Follow the easy steps.  You can create your account and retrieve mail from any computer that is hooked up to the web.  This email account is free.
