Taking as a starting point Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, we will examine how tapping into our students' visual/spatial intelligence can become another entry point for teaching literacy. We will use Microsoft Paint, images from websites, and the digital camera to explore different ways of coming to understand a literary work.
