TrackStar is a site hosted by the High Plains Regional Technology Consortium (HPR*TEC) to facilitate the integration of web resources into the classroom. It is particularly useful for teachers who have access to the Internet but have no way to create their own websites.

It is also a good way to find sites that other teachers find useful. With TrackStar's tracks, you do not need to start from scratch. You can take a track created by another teacher and adapt it to fit your needs. The credit is then rewritten to include you both.

To edit a track in TrackStar

(1) Go to the TrackStar website:

http://hprtec.org/track/

(2) Use the index or search to find a track that pertains to the subject and level you teach.

(3) Click on the frames view to see the track.

(4) Edit the track to delete or add websites, change the annotations, change the description, etc.

(5) Save the track. It will be saved with your name as the modifier of the track and include the original creator as well.
